  • Andy Priester President & CEO

    Andy Priester President & CEO

    Andy Priester serves as Priester Aviation’s President and CEO. He is the third generation of Priesters to lead the family business. In this role, Andy is dedicated to leading the organization to become the preeminent choice in aircraft management, aircraft charter and related aviation services. During Andy’s tenure at Priester, he has grown the fleet from seven aircraft to over 50+ aircraft they manage globally today. Andy holds a master’s degree from Concordia University and has held many leadership roles at aviation safety and trade associations. Currently, Andy serves as Board Chair of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA).

  • Frank Cesarone CFO

    Frank Cesarone CFO

    Frank Cesarone is Priester Aviation’s Chief Financial Officer, reporting to President and CEO Andy Priester. Cesarone provides executive leadership to the company and is responsible for overseeing all financial activities and Priester Aviation’s MIS department. His experience includes more than 20 years in positions as controller and CFO at various organizations before joining Priester Aviation.

  • Albert Pod

    Albert Pod VP, Flight Operations / Director of Operations

    Pod oversees Priester Aviation’s global flight operations. He brings more than 35 years of aviation management and flight operations experience. Pod holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating with over 13,000 hours of flight time, and has held instructor pilot and check airman designations in both FAA Part 121 and 135 operations. Having been VP of Operations at NetJets and President & CEO of Executive Jet Management, Pod is a champion of Safety Management Systems (SMS), ISO 9001:2000 and Lean management. Pod was also influential in writing China’s, previously nonexistent, Part 91 Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).    

  • David Prescott Vice President, Maintenance / DOM

    David Prescott will oversee the company’s Maintenance Department. Prescott’s work in the aviation industry has designated him as an experienced industry veteran who is well respected throughout the aviation community. Prescott served 10 years in the US Air Force, after which he worked for a regional Part 121 air carrier, and for United and American Airlines as a maintenance manager. In addition to his time as a maintenance manager, Prescott served as an Aircraft and Engine Project Manager, handling full scale aircraft refurbishment, pre-purchases, heavy inspections and overhauls for nearly nine years. 

     

  • Charlie Hughes Senior Vice President Management Sales

    Charlie Hughes Senior Vice President, Management Sales

    Hughes leads Priester's aircraft management sales and directs the strategic growth of the fleet. He comes to Priester Aviation with a successful history in management sales, most recently as Vice President of Management Sales at Executive Jet Management (EJM). In addition to Hughes’ management sales experience, he has held executive-level positions in charter sales and client relations spanning his aviation career.

    Gary Gennari Senior Vice President, Charter Sales

    Gary Gennari joined Priester Aviation in 2014 as senior vice president of charter sales. Gennari is responsible for leading Priester Aviation’s entire sales team and developing global charter sales. With more than 25 years of experience in private aviation, Gennari previously served as senior vice president of sales for Executive Jet Management (EJM) and NetJets. Day-to-day responsibilities will include directing sales strategy, communicating with clients and building a broad client-base for its expanding charter fleet.

  • Kurt Humm Vice President of Quality and Safety

    Kurt Humm Vice President, Quality and Safety

    Kurt Humm is responsible for Priester Aviation's Quality Management System. He is actively involved in process mapping, implementation and leading continuous quality improvement. His career spans corporate, commercial and military sectors including flight instructor, American Airlines MD-80 captain and fighter pilot/aircraft commander in the Illinois Air National Guard flying the F-4 Phantom and F-16 Falcon. Humm graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Business Administration.

  • Viviana Martinez

    Viviana Martinez Chief of Staff

    Viviana Martinez brings more than 13 years of aviation experience to her role as Chief of Staff. Martinez joined the Priester team in 2004 where she began as a trip coordinator. Martinez was later promoted to Director of Flight Logistics and grew the department into a 24/7/365 global logistics center as team leader. Her aviation experience also includes working for the Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK) before joining Priester Aviation. She graduated from Lewis University with a B.S. in Aviation Administration and International Business.

  • Joe Mangi Business Development, Charter Sales

    Joe Mangi Director, Business Development

    For the past 12 years, Joe Mangi has served as Priester’s Director of Business Development expanding charter sales in the financial services sector. Before joining Priester’s Business Development Team, Mangi spent 18 years as a Wall Street trader managing the Chicago derivative desks for Morgan Stanley and Salomon Brothers. In addition to his sales role, Mangi also serves as a Challenger 601 pilot on Priester’s fleet of large cabin aircraft. He is currently on the board of directors with the non-profit Feed My Starving Children.

  • John Unzicker Vice President, Midwest Charter Sales

    John Unzicker Vice President, Midwest Sales

    John Unzicker brings more than 10 years of private aviation expertise to Priester’s sales team as Vice President of Midwest Sales. Unzicker is responsible for expanding Priester’s Midwest charter sales and client retention. Prior to joining the team, Unzicker served as the director of sales & marketing for a Chicago-based private aviation firm. He is recognized in both the corporate and luxury travel industries as an innovator and has a passion for providing exceptional client service. He is an active member of the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association (CABAA).

  • Ted Pietrolaj, Vice President Charter Sales

    Ted Pietrolaj Vice President - Charter Sales

    Ted Pietrolaj will be assuming the role of Vice President of Charter Sales and will be responsible for charter client relationships covering the Midwest region. Pietrolaj formerly managed an in-house corporate fleet for a Fortune 100 company and has extensive flight operations experience from his role at Executive Jet Management (EJM). His extensive knowledge of both operations and the client’s perspective is invaluable. The combination of understanding the demands of charter clients and a strong knowledge of flight operations makes him the perfect candidate to fill this role.

  • Anthony Burks

    Anthony Burks Director of Flight Logistics

    Anthony Burks brings more than 12 years of aviation experience to his role as Director of Flight Logistics. Burks joined the Priester team in 2010 where he began as a logistics coordinator. Burks was later promoted to Manager of Flight Logistics and now to his current position as Director of Flight Logistics.  Anthony holds a B.S. in Aviation Science from Saint Louis University (Parks College) as well as a Commercial Single and Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate and Aircraft Dispatcher licenses.

  • James Schnell Director of Client Relations

    James Schnell Director of Client Relations

    James Schnell joined the Priester team in 2005 and now leads the Client Relations Department. As Client Relations Director, Schnell oversees the client relationship, ensuring the client is at the heart of all we do. Schnell is dedicated to providing a seamless client experience from trip inquiry to day of trip execution. He is the fourth generation of Priesters to work in a management role. Schnell graduated from St. Norbert College holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
