Priester Aviation is currently searching for a Manager of Flight Services to join a dynamic team. We are seeking an ambitious leader with excellent communication skills, detail oriented, who is self-driven and client focused. This individual will be responsible for the management and leadership of a team and should have a focus on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe operation and development of employees.

LOCATION

Training and shifts will take place at Priester Aviation’s main office located in Wheeling, IL.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Create and maintain the shift schedule for the Flight Services group, ensuring operational coverage is adequate.
Delegate and assign trips and projects to the team as needed.
Provide support and guidance to team members in all areas such as international and domestic trip coordination, unplanned events such as diversions and AOG’s and ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.
Review trips details to ensure adherence with FAR 135 / 91 and Priester standards to include compliance with Operational Control requirements for operations and maintenance departments
Assist the VP of Flight Services to create, action and organize department goals and metrics.
Support team members in their learning, development and training. Ensure department resources and manuals are updated.
Ensure the team environment and direction prioritizes customer service throughout all tasks and projects.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call rotation
Support and promote the goals and objectives of Priester Aviation’s Safety Management System and Quality Management System

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years Corporate Aviation scheduling experience to include international operations
FAA Aircraft Dispatchers Certificate (preferred)
FOS or other Aviation Scheduling software experience (preferred)
Experience managing a medium sized work group.
Ability to make decisions quickly and work effectively in a high stress, dynamic environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong oral and written communication skills
Customer service focused with exceptional attention to detail
