Description

This position will effectively oversee and coordinate Priester Aviation marketing communications in support of Mayo Aviation and Priester Aviation’s sales efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and tactical support for the development, planning, implementation and execution of the company’s marketing plan in order to establish a strong brand and market presence in support of Priester’s sales efforts
  • Responsible for assisting in the development and coordination of marketing communications including advertising, social media, sales collateral, photography and videography, public and owner relations, press releases, internet marketing, media planning and placement, vendor selection and management, as well as suggesting and assisting in market research projects, intelligence and internal communication
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Develop and implement strategies that promote the Priester brand through digital marketing.
  • Lead efforts which will guide Priester’s executive team to develop ways to strengthen Priester’s brand identity, proposition and position.
  • Participate and assist in the execution of marketing and promotional events offsite.
  • Participate in onsite company sponsored events as needed.
  • Collaborate with industry marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Partner with sales on lead generation efforts and activities.
  • Sales administrative support as needed.
  • Collaborates with web development and design teams; provides guidance on marketing-related aspects of the company’s web presence.
  • Other duties assigned.

Position Requirements

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication preferred. Relevant experience may be a substitute, at the company’s sole discretion.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or related field.
  • Must display strong interpersonal leadership and organizational skills, technical problem-solving ability and concise oral/written aptitude.
  • Experience creating and managing marketing communication projects, editing company newsletters, social media, scheduling and planning.
  • Experience with inbound marketing including: email marketing, SEO/PPC and integration with Salesforce.
  • Must exhibit thorough knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on Photoshop and Design Illustrator), Microsoft Office applications, website contact management system, Salesforce, WordPress or HubSpot.
  • Aviation industry knowledge a plus.
  • Understand importance of brand identity and be able to effectively reinforce and enhance it.
  • Strong social media knowledge and management.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and proven proficiency of inbound marketing.
  • Must demonstrate ability in concepting and graphic design.
  • Must demonstrate ability to prioritize, manage and execute multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to establish strong relationships with internal contacts, external vendors and clients.
  • Must be able to write promotional copy and public relations materials consistent with brand messaging.
