Priester Aviation is seeking qualified Flight Operations Assistant candidates that will support the Operations Department and assist the Flight Operations/Pilot Trainer. This position does a variety of office duties but tailored to the operations/function of the department.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Administer CTS to crew as per their due month.
  • Email pilot reminders regarding Medical & CTS due dates.
  • Oversee pilot CPR due dates and coordinate with scheduler or other CPR Instructor/Trainer.
  • Oversee pilot emergency requirements and schedule training with instructor(s) as applicable.
  • Set up new pilot company emails- work with IT.
  • Review/ensure all aircraft have current insurance paperwork in respective aircraft flight cans.
  • Update or create company manuals in Adobe Framemaker
  • Send out paper copies of GOM/Op Spec, etc. as required and requested.
  • Send training records out to crew.
  • Handle crew travel arrangements for Training and INDOC events, (hotel, air, car rental) and create and email the applicable Trip Sheet.
  • Oversee acquisition and distribution of Flight Logs and Crew Attire.
  • Assemble and distribute Flight Cans to new aircraft joining fleet.
  • Process Flight Attendant Badging through Rockwell Collins.
  • Order/Maintain Fingerprinting cards.
  • Coordinate Drug Packets with HR/ DER
  • Any administrative duties as assigned by Operations Department Personnel.

This is an exempt position which requires flexibility to meet the demands of business.

Position Requirements

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, Degree (Preferred)
  • Two or more years of Business Aviation background is preferred.
  • A background in Customer Service preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Programs to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in Adobe Framemaker a plus.
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment.
