Priester Aviation is searching for an individual to be responsible for prospecting and closing new business, focused on Charter sales to build Priester’s Part 91 and 135 fleet. You must be a dynamic, goal oriented, individual that demonstrates the ability to understand client needs and provide solutions through product knowledge and problem solving to achieve the sales and client retention goals. This position will work closely with many departments within the organization to develop formal presentations for the client. To further build and maintain a healthy pipeline, your activities will also include networking events, client meetings, prospect/influencer greets and must be viewed as the industry subject matter leader.

POSITION SUMMARY:  To sell charter services to UHNWI and corporations.


  • Understand the importance of retail charter needs and be able to effectively provide solutions to the client request
  • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of aircraft types, performance, and overall flight logistics.
  • Supports, Promotes, and complies with the goals and objectives of Priester Aviation’s Safety Management System and Quality Management System.
  • Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with Managers of each department and transition the information to the GET in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to establish strong relationship with new charter clients.
  • Must be able to prepare articulate, professional business correspondence including letters, emails and texts.
  • Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of all private aviation services including 135 charter, Fractional Ownership and Jet Cards.
  • Must demonstrate strong public speaking/presentation skills
  • Must have a clear understanding off the needs of High Net Worth individual and value selling.
  • Close deals with minimal supervision
  • Sell to the client stressing value and service
  • Act as a consultant to the charter prospect or client to determine their most suitable aviation solution (charter, whole aircraft purchase etc.)
  • Travel for business and necessary or required by the company.
  • Prepare charter quotations and source trips in fleet and outside
  • Meet or exceed prospecting requirements/new business goals.
  • Cross sell the Priester Aviation brand and work together with other departments to achieve overall growth for company
  • Be a self-starter and handle territory with entrepreneurial mindset (small part of larger organization)
  • Understand and respond to customers overall charter sales needs to ensure their requirements are met 100% of the time whether in in fleet or out of fleet aircraft
  • Stay abreast on market conditions, Part 135 regulations, and industry comings and goings.
  • With responsibility for the Priester brand, must demonstrate awareness that every email, quote, and phone conversation had by this position is directly exposed to the Priester client and, as such, can build or damage the brand.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment, consistent with the position and corporate culture.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to conduct meetings with members of other departments within Priester Aviation.
  • Must demonstrate strong time management skills and focus
  • Communication among the Sales team, Owner Services team, GET and Logistics
  • Communication with Priester retail clients who may include but are not limited to Owners of multi-million dollar organization, Corporate Executives, and Executive assistants.
  • Ability to recognize and cultivate aircraft management opportunities
  • Allow time to attend to any safety issues that affect their department.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct selling in private aviation industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or Business Management preferred. Relevant experience maybe substituted at the company’s sole discretion.
  • A background in sales or client service/concierge/hospitality.
  • Must be a self-starter and service minded.
  • Rockwell Collins FOS experience a plus.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present numerical data effectively.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent typing skills are also required.
  • Team work and ability to jump in and help others or other departments is a must.
  • Must be able to demonstrate good judgement, consistent with the position and corporate culture.
