Priester Aviation Appoints Andy Priester as President and CEO


WHEELING, IL — Priester Aviation, LLC announces the appointment of Andrew (Andy) Priester as President and Chief Executive Officer. In his expanded position, formerly President and Chief Operating Officer, Andy will lead the company’s new strategic direction.

With the vision to become the preeminent choice in aircraft management, aircraft charter and related aviation services, “The New Priester” brings a renewed focus on the client experience. Charlie Priester, Chairman, has laid the foundation and proud tradition of operating to the highest standards. Andy’s leadership will drive “The New Priester” with a dedication to achieve the company’s initiatives.

Priester Aviation has refined its vision and values, which has become the core of how it operates and delivers impeccable service with every client interaction. Under the leadership of Andy, the company will continue to lead innovation, while honoring its rich family heritage.

Andy joined the company in 1997, making him the third-generation of Priester’s to join the family business. Andy quickly climbed the leadership ranks starting with managing the charter department. Andy was appointed President in 2004. He has been instrumental in growing the business from 7 to the nearly 30 aircraft they manage today, and taking Priester Aviation from a regional to a global operation.

Andy holds a master’s degree from Concordia University. He is a private pilot and is a past President of Illinois Aviation Trades Association (IATA), Chairman of the Air Charter Committee of the National Aviation Transportation Association (NATA) and Founding Chairman of NATA Charter Industry Audit Standards Working Group.
